If you want your car to perform better and last longer, you should do it as recommended or needed. Its just like oil, you have to take care of your engine, or it wont run good, or you will tap a valve. The valve are basically screwed on and tourqued to a certain measurement for example (8mm exhaust - 7mm intake ). The tool is a feeler gauge and it just has a bunch of different sizes or gaps you use.



It is recommended every 15k miles, or when they start to tap, trust me they will start to tap if you take it to redline all the time.
